Friday, 12/5 - Blacksburg Holiday Parade Detour

HDG, SMA and SMS will detour on Friday, 12/5 from 6:45 PM to 9:45 PM due to the Town Holiday Parade. All stops on Main Street between Country Club Drive and Prices Fork Road will be closed. All stops on Roanoke Street will be closed. All stops on Harding Avenue from Owens Street to Patrick Henry Drive will be closed.

Route Adjustments Due To Cold Weather

Due to sustained cold weather limiting bus operations in the early morning hours, several routes will operate on modified schedules for the remainder of the semester.

Friday, 12/5 – Wednesday, 12/10

CAS

  • Operating on 15 minute service.
  • Departs Maroon and Orange Loops at :02 :17 :32, and :47

HXP

  • 7:00 AM – 9:15 AM: Operating on 30 minute service.
    • Departs Maroon Loop at :15 and :45
    • Departs Oak Lane at :00 and :30
  • At 9:15 AM HXP will begin 15 minute service.

CRB

  • 7:00 AM – 9:15 AM: CRB is not in service. Hethwood B (HWB) will serve the Redd Circle stop at The Brexx Apartments during this time.
  • CRB will begin service at 9:15 AM at the Redd Circle time check.
