Yes, all BT vehicles are still safe to ride. BT has implemented all recommended safety precautions identified within the recall.  No mechanical or safety issues related to these recalls have been experienced on BT vehicles.

BT has implemented all recommended safety precautions identified within the recall. Our electric buses are now stored outside & only charged to 75% capacity. Some buses have additional limits on battery capacity.

Check out the “Frequency Changes by Route” for details about each route. There are no changes after 7 PM, and no decreases on weekends.

No. BT hopes to add service back this spring as the weather warms. We are keeping a close eye on the situation and will retore service as soon as we can.

Great question. Even with these recalls lowering our maximum level of service, we’re moving forward with some planned improvements, this includes adding service where we can. We can add service on weekends and in the evenings as long as we don’t surpass the maximum number of buses we can have on the road.

Spring Break 2026

2026 Service Changes

Starting January 18, 2026, BT temporarily adjusted weekday service to accommodate 2 active recalls limiting battery capacity on our 28 electric buses.
